Garage Sale Night

Hello Everyone.
Each January the Irondequoit Quilt Club holds its annual Garage Sale Night. This month's evening meeting was filled with treasures for all!
Some great bargains.

Hmmmm. What do we have here?
Wow! Just what I was looking for!
Of course there were plenty of delicious treats for all the shoppers.
Yummy!
One particularly delicious and a unique to Rochester staple is from the South Wedge. The famous Cheesy Eddie's Cheese Cake is always a welcome sweet treat. As you can see it is quite delectable.
All gone Cheesy Eddie's cheese cake.
No quilt club meeting would be complete without show and tell. So here is a little show and tell.
Chris made twelve quilt tops that will be quilted, bound and then donated to one of our wonderful charity organizations.
Two of twelve quilt tops Chris made in one month for charity!
Nick displayed his beautiful Block of the Month (BOM) from Marcus Brothers.
Love all those reproduction prints.
Brenda proudly reveled this quilt Nova designed by Karen Brackett. She will be teaching this at Cafe Sewciety quilt shop in Webster at the end of March.
Nova from the book Scrap Basket Sensations.
Last year our guild had a presentation by Marlous Designs. Marlous spoke about her journey on becoming a pattern designer and author. One of our guild members decided to create this stunning  Loco Log Cabin quilt from one of Marlous' patterns. I was fortune to quilt this beauty!
Slicing and dicing a common block creates spectacular results.
Until next time...
Happy Quilting, Kathy
